Day 5
We woke up on our last day of our ripper trip to a beaut Nullabor sun, what a way to finish one of our best trips. After driving away from Balladonia roadhouse your's truly decided to do something he doesn't normally do luckly for you, and that was to have a 'Selfie'.... crikey!
Here are the kiddies at the top of Beacon hill lookout at Norseman, and as you can see it was worth the three kilometers drive up to see it! Actually the drive up to the lookout was probably more fulfilling then the frigin' scenery.
One of the giant mine tailings dumps at the base of Beacon hill, which came from a Gold mine at Beacon hill.... cool.
We had another selfie!! This one I was photobombed by a bunch of Nevilles!
We stopped by the side of the road just out of Norseman, so the kiddies could run around on the saltplain... well you don't get to do something like that everyday.
Well almost home with only 720kms to go and as you can see I think the kiddies are ready to get home, nothing a good home cooked feed and a shower wouldn't fix.... Sarah's starting to look like one of the friggin' boys ha,ha.
Almost there.... we had our last stop at a little bush town of Kellerberrin for some petrol and our final last photo!!!! Our trip was great and it was great to meet up with our family and friends again, but I think we have really out done ourselves this time. We drove over 8500kms and had a ripper time, and we can't waite till we save enough petrol money to do it all again.
And Yes mum I did bring them all home again! ..... sorry! ha, ha.
