Oscars break

Well over the years Oscar has either pulled or stretched his bones in all directions, but this time they couldn't help but break!

Before we received the x-rays I told Osk that for him to get along in the que at the hospital you have to cry a bit, he said 'I'm a man dad I don't cry'. So I told him a funny joke which made him crack up, and then just like that he stopped laughing and then started crying in pain (ha,ha job done and we moved up the line)

Fairdinkum he was a broken little man after going up for a mark during a aussie rules game on the school playgrounds, unfortunately for him there were two factors against him. The first was a bloke who wasn't just bigger then him, but weighted more then twenty kilos heaver then Osk. But also the fact that when the bigger fella caught the ball he came crashing down on him like a tone of bricks. Also did I mention that this all took place on concrete!

And as you can see Oscar received his very first (and family first) broken collarbone!

So after a few hours we left the hospital with his arm in a sling, and a few days off school (lucky bugger).
