Anzac Day '20
Well for the first time in many years since we came to Perth town, we couldn't go up to Kings Park for our dawn service. Because of covid19 it was advised that anyone who wanted to pay there respect to the fallen, could do so in there own driveway hence keeping people away from the city.
So we turned on the ABC in the garage and set up a couple of chairs for the morning service, as you can see we placed a candle to represent the fallen who gave their life for us to live this wonderful life we do in Australia and around the world.
From our garage we could hear a fair few bugle and trumpets sounding the LAST POST and REVEILLE, as the dawns first light appeared around us. This was a very strange dawn service and were all hoping to once again next year put all the kiddies into the car and drive up to Kings Park, but until then we just have to be happy for at-least having the chance to spend these special moments together... With an Anzac biscuit...
