Tin horse highway
Well it has taken a fair few years but we finally made it to the Tin Horse Highway, a stretch of tarmac from Kulin to the Kulin Bush racetrack. This otherwise ordinary stretch of country road in west aussie's wheat belt, has become a delight for tourists thanks to many ridge-didge horse-themed sculptures made out of junk by local farmers...This horse is effectually known as The ‘West Kulin Whoppa’.
All the townsfolk and farmers from Kulin decided to get together and make the dusty paddocks around town, into a gallery of bright, quirky, community creations.
Chase with an October beer fest horse, how unique are these tin buggers! Bloody awesome I reckon if your around this area you have to have a squizz at them.
A boat full of Kulin Dags!
A Dead-set-cert! ha,ha...
What started as an authentic community marketing campaign to promote the annual Kulin Bush Races has become one of Western Australia’s most popular self-drives.
A bar full of Dags!
If ya have had a skin-full then you might just fit right in at this bar, the horses might look a bit shonky but so do the rat bags drinking with them.
Charlton Horston movie horse... Ben Horse! ha,ha.
The Australian Defence Horses! Navy, Army and Air-horse ha,ha.
The Scottish Bag-pipes horse and two rat bags...
The Tin Horse Highway provides a seriously entertaining drive and a fun alternative route to iconic Wave Rock.
One of my favorites Nic Naitanuihorse and a Sydney swans horse, now how cool is that!
And what about the work gone into this little beauty, it's the Tin Horse Highway Patrol... It's a random breastesting ha,ha.
So if your in the area then give the Tin horse highway a burl, it's differently worth the drive to have a gander and you never know you might even get pulled over for a Breastest ha,ha.
