My trip out bush.
Another adventure with me Eric the Gnome from Ellenbrook, a few days in the WA outback with these three was just what the doctor ordered.
Some time to just hang with my three best mates, of-cause one of them being just a few flies short of a happy meal (guess which one) ha,ha.
After spending the night at the farm in York we ventured out for a days drive to Bruce Rock, and the first stop was just down the road to have a quick 'nudge of the turps' in Quairading Hotel.
About the
only other thing in town was this beaut statue made out of old used farm equipment... And that's no bull! ha,ha I quack myself up at times ha,ha.
So after a few beers we headed back out as Willie Nelson would say 'On the road again', towards our destination.
Our next stop off was at Kokerbin Rock which you can see behind me, now you might think that's a bloody long walk for a little beautifully formed Gnome. But between you and me I had a little trick up my sleeve, as I was about to get a shofer carry all the way up, life for us gnomes just doesn't get any better then this.
And here are two of my shofers who carried me up that bloody big rock, my mates Chase & Oscar. Now some people name different things for themselves so I reckon I might name this rock Eric's Rock!
And what a view if I might say so myself, just a gnome and his view...
But the show must go on and with that we were in Bruce Rock in no time, just
another couple of hundred kilometers ha,ha. But between you and me I think Eric's Rock is a lot better then down town Bruce, we grabbed a snack from the roadhouse and just about turned around and drove right back to York. But it was nice to have a good drive around, then spending all my time in Carl's shed.
And back to York just in time for a nice feed of snags and a chance to wash them down with a few bottles of beer. Then around the campfire a nice warm taste of a scottish Highlander to was away the dust from a hard days work... Believe me life can be hard for us poor little Gnomes.
