Well while we were up at Mundaring Weir we had prepared for a bushwalk the night before, but before we set off we spent some time having a gander at Mundarings famous English Oak tree.





This tree is the largest living English oak tree in Western Australia, which is surrounded by a boardwalk which enables visitors to get in under the canopy of this 140-year-old heritage-listed tree, whilst protecting the tree roots from compaction.  


But after a nice early feed we were off on our bushwalk...
