Anzac Day '19

Well today couldn't of started any better then it did with a beautiful 17 degrees, which in anybody's book is good at three thirty in the morning. The kiddies love getting up nice and early and on Anzac day I have never had a problem, it's pretty cool to sit there in the darkness waiting for the service to begin.

Then after the service we gather together for our annual 'Champagne Breakfast' where the kiddies drink a non-alcoholic champagne, which as the kiddies get older I'm hoping to change that ha,ha. And we raise our glasses for the fallen...

Today was Sarah's turn to wear her pop's Victor Paul Air-force service medal, which was a very special moment for her.

Something we try to do each year is find a fallen soldier to investigate about, and this year it was this bloke

19904 Leonard George Crabbe

who was a driver during the First World War in the 8th Australian Field Artillery Brigade, he was 27 and came from Geraldton, Western Australia. He was killed in action on the 25th of June 1917 in France...
