Anzac Day 2022

Well with a hot cuppa and some Anzac biscuits we sat back in our chairs to watch our third Dawn service in the driveway, as you can see I was able to rouse Jacko, Chase and Oscar to watch it on the TV it was a bit overcast but really you couldn't of ask for a better morning.

Watching it on the telly isn't as much fun as being in Kings Park, but I understand after all the problems with COVID they don't want people mixing with the old soldiers. But I can't wait until we can go back to getting up early, and driving into Perth and sitting back down on the lawn and watching the dawn service as the sun rises in the background.

But until then we will keep putting our unknown soldier out on our mailbox with the Anzac candle and the Australian flag, while we sit back sipping on a ripper hot cuppa and watching the broadcast on the ABC.

Crikey we live in a marvelous country thanks to these awesome great brave men and women.
