Well today I started to work on the 'Back end' of the patio area that I made a year ago, as you can imagine it takes money and time to bring up an idea what I might do in this area.

As I would like to pave this area but to do so I had to remove the old wooden rail slabs and replace them with a brick retaining wall which would take time and money. Which now I had the opportunity so let's get into it.

I also knew that the first thing was we had to get rid of heaps of soil from the back, but I had ideas, yes it was going to be back breaking work but I'm always ready for that and conceding what I've already done to the patio this should be a walk in the park.

With a Christmas party almost here, I thought if we get the hard work done before summer hits, then we could do it in three stages, the first Faze was to do the hard work with the retaining wall and the paving. Then after Christmas comes faze 2 were we start on the pool fence as I would like to replace it and put it on top of the retaining wall, then faze 3 would be to do some sort of paving on the sand that will be at the bottom of the retaining wall. We can't replace all the pool paving as it would cost $3000 which I didn't feel like spending, I think I can spend that money elsewhere.
