A nice drink with Oscar

Well, it was a ripper Saturday morning when yours truly decided to take the 10c cans up to the tip, but what can one do after he's finished I hear you ask? Well, why not just pop into one of our breweries near home did come to mind, and so with that floating about in the old scone I took the young fella for a beer.

And just like that we were standing at the bar of the Baileys Brewery with our happy hands wrapped around a bloody ripper glass of lager, fairdinkum this place is a bloody awesome brewery where you can see the footy at about every table in the place.

And if that's not enough for you then there's a bloody ripper big screen just out the front in the beer garden, I tell you life can be hard at times hay.

And what could be better than a nice cold beer on a beaut warm day in the swan valley? .... well two cold beers! And so, on our way back home we popped into the Mash Brewery to sink one of their famous Mash lagers.

The Mash is a nice little Brewery sitting on the side of West Swan road and has some ripper different types of brews for you to try. Me I have always just been a lager boy but there's heaps to choose from like citrus and tropical hop characters, there's ones with Blackberries, Raspberries, there's sour ones. Just about every type that you could point a bloody stick at.

But all good things have to come to an end, well it did for Oscar as there was backyard stuff to do and we can only have one supervisor hay. So, with a beer in hand, I looked after the young fella.

And can I just say he did a bloody ripper job and got it all done just before the footy started.

life doesn't get much better than this...
