Pub crawl with my old mate
Friday arvo drinks at the Valley Social pub on the legendary West swan road, and today we brought along me old sparring partner Mick from Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory . The first beer went down without even touching the sides, which was a nice sign for a good nights drinking.
The we went for a short drive up the road to the Hen for a feed and a few more quiet beers, Well not to quiet when you have the old fella with ya.
And it's now time to get some tucker into us and so I had my eye on a ripper parmie, and it didn't let me down I loved it.
Turn it up! It's Bloody only just after five o'clock and the bloody German brewery Duckstein has just shut down for the night It's a bloody Friday arvo and it's shut! (No-wonder they lost the war)
But luckily for yours truly I always have a plan B and with that we walked to the next drinking hole The Bailey's brewery just across the West swan. So here we are happily sinking a few more coldies.
Then a nice drive up to The Mash Brewery which is one of my favorites, and yes we had another one of those Mexican beers and yes it's still a ripper lager. This is a family-owned craft brewery that was Established in 2006, and has no plan of ever shutting so we should look forward to sinking there fine beer for years to come.
Now we're into the old local down the road the legendary Brook, the beer must be working when you study the photos I'm taking. But trust me there's no problem as I always look a bit better out of focus!
And our last drinking hole for the night is the old Corporate box beer garden, fairdinkum it's been a ripper night we have lee Kernaghan in the background singing away and a few rounds of pool.. Trust me Life's pretty good..
