A double pub friday

The Freemasons Hotel in Toodyay has a real nice old charm that a old pub in the country really needs and inside the main bar has that old workman's style that I love, a real mans man type of pub.

Well we had a little trip up to Toodyay after work for our Friday beer, yes I know it might be Thursday but thanks to the fella upstairs we get a Friday off. And seeing Jacko is staying up here for the night (a 18th birthday party), I thought we should pop up have a beer and a sticky break at his room...

Don't we all just love that laded back feeling you can only get by sitting on a pub veranda, and as you can see it's a real bloody ripper of a view. Fairdinkum the beer went down so well just sitting back enjoying the late summer sun, while just taking in the Pub veranda serenity. But seeing we had to drive a fair bit to get up here, we thought we better make it worth while and so we popped into a second pub. And what a bloody pub did it turn out to be...

And where as the Freemason hotel was a real workman's pub the Vic has had a massive makeover, and has gone to the more nicer cloud of people. It's a very nice pub and looks like it would have a ripper restaurant, but unfortunately we were not hanging around long enough for it to open.

As you might of noticed we had a ring in today as Harry had something on, so we brought Oscar up for the drive, and he loved hanging out with us.
