Back to the farm.
Back to York for another one of those campfires which we all love, and this time we got the misses to pop up with us.
Here's Chase knocking on our side door, photo taken by Sarah.
Mum and the kiddies at the farm just before we started the fire up.
And after a ripper feed it was time for the fire, and with the drinks going down beautifully we had a nice night up at York.
On one of our drives around the district we found a ripper little dirt track, with had Jacko's name on it... but I don't know about the saint bit!
BUSTED! Sarah pinched the photo and did what all girls do, take pictures of herself... now we can all see it ha,ha. This her 'I just robbed a bank look'.
Another one of sarah's photos this was taken just at sundown, but this is the moon coming up... pretty cool.
The famous cantree just outside York on the road to the farm, we should have a can tree on the farm... But then again it would need a lot more branches ha,ha.
Tonight's dinner was going to be a lot more upmarket then the cooked sausages, as we were going to have a 'Date night' with a twist as the kiddies are with us... bugger! This is the ripper 'Greenhills Inn', which was built in 1906 and sits in the little township of Greenhills (hence the name). It's a beaut old Pub which is about 22 kms from York and has a population of 2000 Greenhillterrians, who mostly are farmers as there's only about half a dozen houses in the town's only street.
A family selfie outside the Greenhills Inn.
After our dinner we were driving away when we saw this little park, so me and the misses poped into it and left the kiddies in the Van ha,ha. We had a ripper laugh while trying to swing on these old day swings, it brought back memories of the swings at the bottom of Brighton ave near the lake.
And as you can see the swings came with there original pieces, this would of been brand new way back in 1958!
After we had a good swing we let the kiddies have there go, can you remember the same pole swing back at Anzac Park near the lake? A lot of old memories.
Tree from Greenhills... Sarah's photo
Then back to the farm for our second campfire on our weekend, another one of Sarah's photos from the trip.
Then the next day on our way home through York, we noticed some funny scarecrows at one of the houses in town. This was Oscar's favorite scarecrow so we had to jump out and have a gander.
Pretty cool hay.
