Around Ellenbrook town (Part1)

Well now that we have settled into our new surrounds, we thought it might be a good idea to give you a gander at where our new home town is. This is the Ellenbrook shopping centre and simply called 'Ellenbrook shops', there's Big W, Coles, Brumbys,Gloria Jeans and even a Dick Smiths ha,ha... but not for long.

And there's even an old boat sculpture in the main street that the little nevilles love, it's a copy of the old rowboat that Captain Stirling rowed up the swan river and camped nearby. He penned a note that said 'the natives seemed angry at our invasion of their territory'... bit of a bugger that!

And this will be the young fellas new 'Local'... well after they turn 18 ofcause, it's the ripper Brook hotel. So until they get older me and the misses will just have to look after it for them, fairdinkum I reckon yours truly will see a few chook raffles in the sportsmans bar.

Mates

This photo was taken at the end of 'The Parkway', and as you can see in the background there's a lot of spear ground for the future shops.

The little fellas in frount of a giant scallop shell. 'The nyoongars (local tribe) believed the souls of the dead rested on the western sea'.
